Koridor Mimarlık is an İstanbul based architectural office founded in 2016 by Özge Saka and Elif Kılıç. They have been involved in different stages of many type of projects such as masterplan, residential, office, hospitality and retail projects. The firm specialises in urban planning, architecture, and interior design projects together with providing assistance for planning applications and site monitoring.
After completing her undergraduate qualifications in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University, Elif worked at MArS Architects for 7 years and in the long run as a Design Leader she practiced on different scale residential, commercial, restoration & renovation projects. After taking part in SALT’s Architecture and Design Archive Turkey programme as a research director, she worked as a Senior Architect in Ormanada construction project for Eczacıbaşı Property Development and Investment for 6 years. During this period she used her experience at coordinating general construction, supervising detailed construction documents and gathering and dissemination information among contractors and other disciplines. She aims to create more work in the light of her experience at Koridor Mimarlık with Özge Saka.
ELİF KILIÇ / PARTNER
Özge studied architecture at Istanbul Technical University and is a highly experienced design architect with over 15 years on both Turkish and international projects. Before establishing Koridor Mimarlık together with Elif Kılıç, she had worked as Director and Design Leader at Aukett Swanke İstanbul and was a long standing member and associate of the firm for 12 years. Ozge is well respected for her leadership of a number of large scale residential, master planning, office and hotel projects, principally located in Istanbul. She provides a comprehensive understanding of the local zoning and regulation constraints and how these can be interpreted to optimise the development potential of a site. Her experience covers master planning and conceptual design stages of various projects and competitions to direction of construction documentation, and she has led the design of a number of projects to completion on site.
